Job Title: FLORAL DESIGNER

Job Overview:
Mibellarosa, a luxury floral design company, is seeking an experienced and creative Floral Designer to join our team. We are looking for a talented individual with a strong work ethic, a great can-do attitude, and a team-player mentality to contribute to our reputation for exceptional floral arrangements and service. This position is ideal for someone with a background in floral design, preferably in a studio setting, who is passionate about creating beautiful floral designs and maintaining our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and create custom floral arrangements for daily orders, special events, weddings, and other projects, ensuring all work reflects Mibellarosa’s luxury design standards.
Provide outstanding customer service, including taking orders, answering inquiries, sending invoices and assisting clients with their floral needs.
Maintain the floral studio and cooler, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficient inventory management.
Manage the receipt, processing, and culling of floral products; ensure freshness and quality at all times.
Set up and break down events, both on-site and off-site, ensuring timely and professional delivery and installation.
Assist in training and mentoring new floral staff to maintain consistent quality and customer service.
Operate specialized equipment such as large vehicles, forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks for event setups and deliveries.
Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards, contributing to a professional and organized work environment.
Assist with ensuring flowers and hard goods are displayed beautifully.
Be flexible and adapt to peak business periods, including extended hours or additional shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in floral design, ideally within a flower shop or design studio.
Strong design skills with the ability to create luxury floral arrangements that reflect Mibellarosa’s signature style.
A positive, “whatever it takes” attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate motorized equipment, including lifts and trucks up to 30 ft.
A valid Texas driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required.
Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, proactive attitude.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in floral design is a plus.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Knowledge of Canva, Square, Squarespace, and other related software.
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Mibellarosa, a luxury floral design company, is seeking motivated and reliable interns to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about floral design and the event industry but don’t have prior experience. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience, learn about floral design processes, and assist our team with various tasks, including organizing, cleaning, deliveries, and event setups.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the floral team with daily tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and preparing floral products.
Help with packing orders and preparing arrangements for delivery.
Assist with deliveries and pickups of floral arrangements to and from clients and events.
Support the team during event setups and strikes, ensuring the smooth flow of operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the studio and on-site at events.
Contribute to the efficient flow of the team by offering support where needed.
Learn about the floral design process, including inventory management and customer service.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 18.
No prior experience in floral design required, but a passion for flowers and events is a must.
Strong work ethic with a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks (lifting, organizing, and transporting up to 50 lbs).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and friendly demeanor.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days.
Must be a team player with a good attitude, high sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm for contributing to a creative and collaborative environment.
